He also has over twenty five years of experience in the Retail Electricity space including Retail, Wholesale, Scheduling, Generation and Rate Structures in both Regulated and Deregulated Markets. Mr. Malik was one of the first to be a retail electric provider in Texas. He is known in the industry as the go-to consultant for startups getting into the retail provider sector as well as existing energy businesses who need help in streamlining their operations.

As a long-time entrepreneur, Mr. Malik has been intensively focusing on Renewable Energy for the last three years. He has created turn-key solutions for behind-the-meter and community solar farms in development, marketing, and rate structures. Mr. Malik has also focused on providing on and off the grid energy solutions for sustainability, expansion and predictability of energy and rates.
